Injection Lipolysis (Lipodissolve)

What is Lipodissolve?
Lipodissolve is a treatment program, part of which is the injection of a substance Phosphatidylcholine (PPC) into fatty areas. This then works to break down the subcutaneous fat at the injection site, to give you a more contoured toned appearance.

Lipodissolve injections must not be regarded as a miracle drug for weight reduction. But when it comes to fat deposits which cannot be eliminated by nutritional therapy or exercises, lipodissolve may be the answer. During the injection process fat is melted away and then eliminated from the body via the usual metabolic process.

Who is suitable for treatment?
Almost anyone is suitable for treatment. However, some diabetics, those with autoimmune diseases and severe liver/renal diseases should not be treated. Pregnant or nursing mothers and children are also not suitable for the treatment.
Lipodissolve injection results can be seen best in smaller treatment areas. Patients with bigger areas can still be treated, though may require many treatments and for them, liposuction may be a better option.

What can be achieved?
Some patients have reported up to 14cm circumferential loss in the stomach region! Results vary from patient to patient and are dependent on the treatment area. Lipodissolve should be regarded as a treatment for body sculpting or contouring.

What areas can be treated?
Face: Double Chin and Jowls
Body: Upper and lower belly, love handles, outer and inner thighs, upper arms, Gluteal banana, Bra-line, saddle-bags, knees and iliac crest.

How many treatments are needed and are there any side effects?
As a rule, 2-4 treatments in intervals of 6-8 weeks are necessary to finish the therapy with success. 80% of patients are very satisfied with the results. Almost every patient will experience some temporary side effects. These may include redness, swelling, itching and muscle aches in the treated area which may last for a few days. You also may experience some bruising in the 10-14 days after the treatment.
