VeinGogh

What is VeinGogh?

Veingogh is a medical device based on Ohmic Thermolysis for use in the removal of Telangiectasias and spider veins on the lower extremities of adults. Veingogh is minimally invasive and works with all skin types.

When should VeinGogh be considered?

Any adult in good health who has thin spider veins, or tangled, thread-like veins known as “telangiectasia,” and who is looking for a quick procedure with no downtime, can be an excellent candidate for the VeinGogh procedure.

Are there any risks?

There is a very small risk of scarring, although this risk is minimal and much less than the risk associated with other vein procedures.

How long does treatment take?

Depending mainly upon the size of the area, treatments can range from about a minute for minor lesions and up to 20–25 minutes for a more extensive condition.

How is the treatment performed?

After cleaning the injection site, your VeinGogh specialist will use a very fine, insulated needle to administer the treatment just beneath the surface of the skin but without piercing the vessel itself. Tiny vessels will be destroyed and disappear quickly. Most procedures take less than 20 minutes to perform, and no bandages are required following the procedure

How many treatments are needed?

In most cases only one treatment is needed. However, if the condition is severe, follow up treatments may be necessary.

Will the vein issues occur again?

Veins that have been properly treated should not return. However, new veins may develop over time and require re-treatment. Follow-up visits are recommended for “touch-ups”.

How soon can I expect to see results?

Immediately. You will see continuous improvement over several weeks as the treated vessels are reabsorbed.
